Pasco Airport Gets Stimulus Money

Speaking of stimulus money, the Herald is reporting that the Pasco Airport is in line to get $8.7 million of federal stimulus money. The funds will be used for two projects:

reconstructing the airport’s primary runway
replacing the asphalt “apron” (where planes park) with a concrete surface on the north side of the airport

Pasco Library Grand Re-Opening on Saturday

After about two-and-a-half months of work, the Pasco Library will have a grand re-opening this weekend. Festivities are set for 1:30 pm this Saturday, March 21st, at the library building (1320 W Hopkins St.) across from the city pool. Library and city officials will be there for a ribbon-cutting.
