Sorry for the late notice on this, but we should mention that the Alternative Gift Fair — which I think debuted last year — is happening today from Noon to 4:00 pm. They call it “alternative” gift fair because visitors are encouraged to buy gifts that benefit local charities including Second Harvest, Vista Youth Center, Doctors Without Borders, and more.
The Tri-City Dog Park Society will also be there to launch a new fund raising effort for the planned permanent dog park in Richland. You’ll be able to buy “memorial bricks” for $100 and have a personal message or your name on the 4″ x 8″ brick that will be displayed when the dog park is built.
There will also be live music, a bake sale, and more. It all happens from noon to 4 pm today at the Community Unitarian Universalist Church, 2819 West Sylvester St., Pasco.
