Quick note for parents with kids in the Pasco School District: The District has announced that the first day of school for the 2010-2011 school year will be August 30, 2010. The district recently revised next year’s calendar, and you can download the new one here. (PDF)

How about them Jaguars??!!! We have to say congrats to Tri-Cities Prep for its record-setting state championship win on Friday in Tacoma. The Jaguars beat Lummi by a score of 80-40, with quarterback Will Hoppes throwing an amazing 10 TD passes. Wow!
