The improvements continue at GESA Stadium: On Monday night, the Pasco City Council approved the purchase of a new scoreboard to add some big league atmosphere to the stadium.
Here are details from the Dust Devils news release:
The new scoreboard will feature a LED message board that will be able to display pre-produced video and graphics. It will also include the Gesa Stadium name, a clock, improved backlit signage for sponsors, and design elements that match the stadium’s signature sun shade.
The scoreboard will cost about $140,000 and will be paid from state funds that were distributed to all five Washington cities with minor league baseball teams. And the new toy should be installed and available for opening night this summer — June 23rd against Vancouver.
