The northwest regional NAACP organization is bringing its Spring conference to Pasco this weekend. The three-day event will take place at Columbia Basin College, and the public is welcome to attend. Call 206-854-5507 for more information about registering.
The regional organization covers Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. The conference is also expected to boost interest in the Tri-Cities NAACP chapter, which has been dormant for 12 years, according to an article in today’s Herald.
