The steering committee that’s looking into options for possibly adding another crossing over the Columbia River will host a public meeting on the project next week. It’s set for October 13 at 6:30 pm at the Chiawana High School auditorium.
“The Steering Committee felt it was important to give the public one more opportunity to learn about the study and provide input before we move on to the future project phases, including environmental analyses,” said Mark Kushner, Benton-Franklin Council of Governments Transportation Director.
There are currently four options under consideration. The steering committee is tasked with narrowing that down to a final three, and then present them to the Benton-Franklin Council of Governments for action.
