Pasco Airport Has New Flight Options

And off we go...When Cari and I first moved to the Tri-Cities (in the 1990s), air travel options were pretty limited at the Pasco Airport. But things have improved over the years, and this year the options seem to be better than they’ve ever been. Check it out:

United Airlines is adding new Pasco (PSC) to San Francisco (SFO) flights on June 4th. They’ll be two departures/arrivals each day:

Pasco, WA (PSC) to San Francisco, CA (SFO)
Depart	Arrive	Via	Duration	Flight numbers	Aircraft
6:31am 8:27am 1h56m UA5791 CRJ
4:35pm 6:31pm 1h56m UA5799 CRJ

San Francisco, CA (SFO) to Pasco, WA (PSC)
Depart	Arrive	Via	Duration	Flight numbers	Aircraft
8:54am 10:54am 2h00m UA5788 CRJ
7:00pm 9:00pm 2h00m UA5798 CRJ

And if you missed it, Delta Airlines recently added a Pasco – Minneapolis (MSP) flight. It’s operated by Compass Airlines and uses an Embraer 175, which has slightly bigger seats than a Boeing 737. There’s just one PSC-MSP arrival/departure per day, but that’s still another option for Tri-Cities fliers headed east.

Not too long ago, your only outbound flight options were to go from Pasco Airport to Seattle, Portland, or Salt Lake City. Portland’s not an option anymore, but you can fly from Pasco to:

  • Denver (United)
  • Minneapolis (Compass/Northwest)
  • Seattle (Alaska/Horizon)
  • Salt Lake City (Delta)
  • Las Vegas (Allegiant)
  • San Francisco (United, starting in June)

That’s a pretty impressive lineup for our “little” airport, don’t you think?!?
