- Parsons recently opened its new building at the Port of Pasco. The international engineering/design company has been in town for about ten years now, and employs more than 150 people.
- A new state liquor store has opened up on Road 68. The address is 5109 N. Road 68, Suite C.
- The The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites was recently honored by its parent company, InterContinental Hotel Group, with a “2009 Quality Excellence Award.” It was one of only 107 hotels in the company to get the award, out of more than 4,300 properties.
