As has been the case across the area, Pasco real estate development slowed down a bit in 2008. The documents are available on the city’s web site, but here are the relevant numbers where Single-Family Dwellings are concerned:
2007
Permits Issued: 518
Valuation: $100,797,598
2008
Permits Issued: 398
Valuation: $77,858,825
That’s a 23% drop in both permits and valuation from year to year.
On the flip side, industrial building permits and valuation were both up in 2008 in Pasco.
