Okay all you foodies out there, in case you haven’t heard, there’s a big cooking/food event coming to the TRAC next week. It’s called Taste of Home Cooking School and it’s happening next Thursday, May 13th. The doors open at 4:30 pm for an expo with lots of local vendors, and then the show itself begins at 6:30 pm.
Taste of Home is a magazine that you may be familiar with, and this event next week is part of a series of shows the magazine puts on all across the country. It usually runs for about 2.5 hours, and the instructor shares and demonstrates about a dozen recipes. Attendees get a gift bag and a cookbook from the magazine.
You can get tickets in advance for $12, and they’re available at Ranch and Home in Kennewick, Grocery Outlet in Kennewick, or online at www.tasteofhometricities.com. If available, tickets at the door will run you $15.
